On Saturday morning, we went to visit the Garden Tomb. There is some disagreement as to the actual place of Jesus' burial. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is regarded as enshrining the traditional place. The Garden Tomb is another place where Jesus could have been buried.
From a distance, there is a skull face seen in this cliff and could have been the original "Golgotha". Jesus would have been crucified at the base of this cliff near the road leading into Jerusalem.
This is a tomb inside a cave in a garden near Golgotha that some scientists believe was the burial place of Jesus.
We had a communion service in the garden.
