Vail, Colorado

On Tuesday morning, we started the drive from Moab, Utah to Colorado Springs. The drive through western Colorado was gorgeous. Along the way we made two stops. The first was in Vail. We pulled into a parking lot and ate lunch in the RV. Then, we walked into Vail to find some ice cream.

Ethan enjoying his ice cream. Vail reminded of the feel of a Bavarian town- tudor style architecture and cobblestone streets in the walking district. 

It was a lovely day and there were many people out and about riding bikes and such.

Abigail was dying to explore the creek. The water was COLD.

Beautiful flowers were everywhere. We all enjoyed Vail. We have visited some nice towns: Vail; Jackson, Wyoming; Springdale and Moab, Utah. We all favored Jackson except for Caleb- he liked Vail the best.
