Grand Teton National Park

 As beautiful as Yellowstone is, I find the views in GTNP to be breathtaking.

GTNP was established in 1929. It includes the Teton mountain range and the Jackson Hole Valley. GTNP is only ten miles south of Yellowstone. The park is named for Grand Teton, the tallest mountain in the Teton range. It contains many lakes, including Jackson Lake and Jenny Lake and the main stem of the Snake River flows through the park. GTNP is also the home a National Elk Refuge.

We have had a problem finding a campsite in the park so we are currently staying at the Snake River Lodge- yep, roughing it! Heading into Jackson today and then on the Salt Lake City.
