World War II

So, we have finished up our study of World War II and the Holocaust. This year we are studying modern history and it has felt harder to engage all of the kids on their different levels. Here are some books that we have used and a picture of the mural that they made together with various amounts of involvement depending on age.

This is their mural. It includes: a map of the Allied and Axis countries in Europe and Asia, a timeline of major events and pictures of key people of World War II- Winston Churchill, Adolf Hitler, FDR, Harry Truman, Mussolini, Albert Einstein, Dwight D. Eisenhower, General MacArthur, Hirohito, Stalin, Corrie Ten Boom and Anne Frank.
