This year, Caleb played for the Troy Christian Teener team. They finished the regular season 10-1. He will miss most of the tournament due to his backpacking trip but if they make it to the tournament championship game, he will be back for that. Caleb played primarily 2nd base and pitched. The team consisted of 7th, 8th and 9th graders which was a new experience to play with kids so much older than him but I think he really enjoyed it and improved a great deal. He battled his way up through the batting order and ended the regular season batting 6th.
Ethan played for the Greentech Team in Majors. They finished the season in 3rd place and were 4th in the end of season tournament. Ethan played a LOT of catcher and some shortstop. He also pitched some. He usually batted 1st or 2nd. One of his coacher (Uncle Steve) commented that Ethan was the best catcher that he has seen in that age group.
Adam played for F&P in his last year of Minors. His dad was his coach. They finished the season in 6th place and finished 4th in the tournament. He pitched, played catcher and first base. He batted 5th and led his team in batting average, on base percentage, hits and rbi's. It was a good year for him also in the sense of developing his leadership skills on a team.
