More Good Books

We are reading so many good books right now- yippee!!!

Ethan and I are reading this together... a bit gruesome but I am hoping to get him to do a Beowulf cartoon.

We are studying whales in science and also reading Seabird for geography (another good one!).

This ties them all together nicely....

A nice illustrated version to accompany Lamb's version. Abigail is hoping to make paper dolls.

We are studying Native Americans AND love the illustrations of N.C. Wyeth! So we are very happy to be reading his version of James Fenimore Cooper's Last of the Mohicans. Today when we were hiking the children pretended to scouts on the lookout for Huron spies!
