Louden's Apple Orchard

Last week, we headed over to Urbana to visit Louden's Apple Orchard.

This is the machine that they use to wash and separate the apples.

This is the machine that they use to make apple cider.

It was a perfect day for picking.

We had to be very careful when we picked because the bud for next year's apple is right behind this year's apple and we didn't want to cause any loss of fruit. We had to twist or lift up when we picked.

We picked 1/2 bushel and also bought some apple cider.
