Cocoons at Brukner

This Monarch Butterfly hatched from it's cocoon jsut as we arrived at Brukner.

Well, we are through the first week. It was an ok start. Caleb is starting cursive and excited about that. Ethan is back to reading and working on his handwriting. We also read, organized out portfolios, started our Art/Music/Poetry notebooks, decorated out history binders and went on a Nature Hike to Brukner. On Friday, we had an outing to John Bryant State Park for a hike and picnic. Then we stopped at Young's Dairy for an ice cream cone. Soccer games also started so it was a big week!
