We have listened to this book on CD and also enjoyed reading it at home. Actually, this whole series is a good one. It includes The Children's Book of America, The Children's Book of Virtues, The Children's Book of Home and Family and The Childrens' Book of Faith. The stories are edited by William J. Bennet and the illustrations are by Michael Hague.
