Follow-up on Giant by N.C Wyeth

Some of our thoughts....

What does the painting make you think of?
-Jack and the Beanstalk
-A version of the story of Icarus that we have where the gods are watching from the clouds.


What do you like about the painting?
-the colors.
-the difference between the little children and the BIG giant.


Where do you think that Giant is going?
-to his castle in the clouds

Other comments:
We are not sure if the giant even knows the children are there. But the children all see him and we are looking up at him as if from one the childrens' point of view.
