We have been really enjoying a series that is new to us- Classical Baby. They have four different videos: art, music, dance and poetry. Each video has short animated segments demonstrating whatever area of the arts is the theme.
All the kids seem to like these from Caleb down to Abigail.
And then, there is the old standby- Reading Rainbow which we all LOVE (even Mom). The stories are great and they also have the special interest segments (did you know how they harvest cranberries? in bogs? Fascinating!) But my very favorite part is when they have the children recommend a book that they have read. I'm thinking about having my kids do a book talk in this format and filming them! Anyway, this is a lot of enthusiasm for a few videos but I digress.
